CANTATA SANGUI Signs With SEASON OF MIST RECORDS

May 20, 2008

Season of Mist Records has announced the signing of the Finnish act CANTATA SANGUI. The band's debut album, entitled "On Rituals and Correspondence in constructed Realities", is slated for a late 2008 release.

Commented CANTATA SANGUI singer Anna: "We are happy to release our debut album through Season of Mist, known to support artistic freedom and having the legacy of standing by nonconformist acts. It is great to have a partner lubricating the cog-wheels of Leviathan for us to keep on twisting and sweetly corrupting the conformist genre boundaries with the tentacles of this lunacy sung in blood."

According to the group's official bio, CANTATA SANGUI is "an avant-garde approach gothic/black/doom metal band with guitar parts played by variety of four-, five- and twelve-string bass guitars. Originally formed as a two-bass-guitar-and-drums fusion music trio, [the band] eventually reformed as a more gothic/metal group."

CANTATA SANGUI is:

Anna (female vox)
Tuomas (bass, backing vox)
Bolton (drums)
Hanna (keyboards, backing vox)
